Thalia Deco City & Beach Hotel

Rooms are big and clean. The people are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, but it could've been more diverse. We loved everything, except the room that was given to us, was street oriented and we could here everything from outside. Also the room door could've been thicker, since every little noise from the hallway, from the "well behaved" neighbors.

The reception is very stylish. Lots of choices for breakfast, homemade bread, good choice of teas... Staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. They gave us suggestions for trips when needed. The pool is peaceful, perfect for relaxation. Beaches, shops, town center are very close. Thalia Deco hotel was decision for our holiday. Thank you.

While planning our vacation, we compared offers from a lot of hotels around Crete. We chose Thalia because we believed it was the best option, based on description and reviews. We stayed here for a week. It turns out our assumption was 100% right! The personnel was very communicative and eager to help us with everything we requested. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable as well. Breakfast was excellent: delicious and diversified, from omlettes, greek salad, ham & cheese, to various sweets, including fresh fruits and pastry products (if you have to leave earlier, they can prepare you an early-breakfast). Dinner was served at a 4-star hotel nearby. Again, delicious food, with a lot of options, in order to satisfy everyone's taste. It is close to the beach, supermarkets, excursion agencies, and most importantly, bus stations are nearby. Overall, it was a great experience and we are happy that we stayed here. A wonderful family run place in Hersonissos, Crete. Situated on the main street with local tavernas, travel agencies, supermarkets, ideal for active rest. The beach is 2 minutes walk across the street. The hotel deserves strong 5 points out of 5 in its category. The rooms are exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds. The staff is fantastic. We thank the hotel owner Themis for his elegant tactfulness and his wife Gordana, the supersonic lady, who bakes bread at night to have it fresh for guests in the morning and serves other homemade products for breakfast. Their son Antonio answers all the questions and solves all the problems you may have. And if you want cultural and historical background for your trips in Crete, ask Anthie, young administrator. The hotel has style and soul, because the people working here are passionate about what they are doing. You check in as a guest, you check out as a friend! This 3 star hotel is a bargain. The price is very good for what it offers. The personnel is 5 stars for sure. The lobby is 4 stars. The rooms are 3 stars. Decent for Greece, but there are small adjustments that can be made. The breakfast includes many options. Not very diverse throughout the week, but we'll above a 3 star hotel. And the dinner is across the street and it is great. The location of the hotel is very good. Close to the sea, 2nd row, quiet rooms and close to everything.
